Costumes, music, medieval artisans welcome you to the Castello. Stroll around and enjoy the magical atmosphere.

Lots to do for all the family, from the very young to worldweary teenagers.
Visit the Castello itself and learn about its history, the people who lived there and its gentle ghost, Madama Barbara, who still waves her handkerchief out of the tower window, waiting for her love, Messir Matteo, to return from battle.

Take a turn in the pony cart, or ride a donkey, try your hand at shooting with a bow and arrow or wander amongst the medieval ladies and gentlemen observing them at work and play.

In the afternoon there will be a cooking laboratory held by the Hotel Istitute   De Filippi of Arona (Professoressa Daniela Lipari) together with the  Association of Chefs from  the Alto Basso Novarese e VCO, Chef Alberto Gritti. Learn how to cook the typical local dish of beans and sausage known as “La Paniscia“. Each lesson last 30 minutes

Enjoy a drink in the Wine Bar and lunch on the Terrace with its magnificent view of Lake Maggiore. 3 course menu with wine and water as well as a rich buffet of hors d’oeuvres €25 and children €12.
Reservations required.
At the end of the day wind down with a drink and dinner in the Hotel Restaurant “Le Fief” with its magnificent decor.  And to complete a perfect day, overnight in one of the deluxe rooms at the Palazzo, waking up to the sound of birds chirping before enjoy an excellent breakfast.
