What to do this weekend after the Royal Wedding

Ornavasso, on May, 1st from 9.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

The “Sagra of May 1st” is back! Walking around ancient town courtyards, tasting typical products of local cuisine and admiring traditional handiwork. 40 courtyards – 20 tasting areas for one of the most appreciated popular festivals in this area.

Entrance  in the Town Hall:  Prices: Adults € 12,00 ( under 12 years old € 6,00), family package: 2 adults + 1 child under 12 years old € 25,00, 2 adults + 2 children under 12 years old € 30,00, children under 3 years old free.

The package gives access to the  historical gastronomic route (tastings included),  a ceramic mug (first 3.000 enrolled people) or a tasting glass (till 10.000 enrolled people), a glass holder and a route map.

Tourist Mini-Train to the Ancient Marble Quarry and entry: adults € 4,00 – teens under 12-years-old free.

Arona – Discover the Lake from the Water

“Water ways” or “I Sentieri d’Acqua sul Lago Maggiore” – title of the 3rd edition of this event which offers everyone the opportunity to get out onto the Lake itself and discover the joys of sailing, try on a scuba suit, watch the police carry out manoevres, learn about the Lake’s ecosystem .
